Application Terms & Conditions

These Application Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Peymo mobile application (the “App”), provided by Peymo Ltd (“Peymo”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you disagree, please do not use the App.

1. Nature of the App

PEYMO is a software-only, self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet application.

The App provides a user interface that allows users to:

​

  • create and manage their own self-custodial crypto wallet

  • initiate blockchain transactions directly from their wallet

  • interact with public blockchain networks​

​​

Peymo does not:

  • hold, manage, or control user funds

  • have access to private keys or recovery phrases

  • act as a payment processor, intermediary, or financial institution

  • reverse, cancel, or modify blockchain transactions

​​

All blockchain transactions are initiated and confirmed solely by the user.

​

2. Self-Custodial Responsibility

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

​

  • private keys and recovery phrases are generated and stored locally on your device

  • PEYMO cannot access, recover, reset, or store your wallet credentials

  • loss of your recovery phrase results in permanent loss of access to your wallet

  • you are solely responsible for securing your device and recovery phrase

 

This is a fundamental characteristic of self-custodial blockchain technology.

​3. Blockchain Transactions

Transactions initiated through the App are executed directly on public blockchain networks.

 

PEYMO:

  • does not operate or control any blockchain network

  • does not guarantee transaction confirmation times

  • is not responsible for blockchain network failures, congestion, or fees

 

Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed.

 

4. QR Code Functionality

The App may allow users to initiate blockchain transfers by scanning QR codes.

QR codes represent wallet addresses and transaction details.

They may be displayed in various contexts, including physical locations.

PEYMO does not verify, endorse, or intermediate transactions initiated via QR codes.

 

5. No Financial or Banking Services

 

PEYMO is NOT a bank, payment service provider, money transmitter, or financial institution.

 

The App does not provide:

  • banking services

  • custodial services

  • payment processing

  • dispute resolution or chargebacks

 

You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the App complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

 

6. Eligibility

 

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

 

By using the App, you represent that you are legally permitted to use blockchain-based applications under applicable law.

 

7. Acceptable Use

 

You agree not to use the App:

  • for unlawful purposes

  • to violate applicable laws or regulations

  • to infringe the rights of others

  • to interfere with or disrupt the App or blockchain networks

 

PEYMO may restrict access to the App where required by law.

 

8. Intellectual Property

 

All intellectual property rights in the App, including software, design, logos, and trademarks, are owned by or licensed to PEYMO.

 

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use in accordance with these Terms.

 

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

 

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PEYMO disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • merchantability

  • fitness for a particular purpose

  • uninterrupted or error-free operation

 

10. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PEYMO shall not be liable for:

  • loss of digital assets

  • loss of private keys or recovery phrases

  • blockchain network failures or delays

  • user errors or incorrect transactions

  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

 

Your use of the App is at your own risk.

 

11. Privacy

 

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, available at:

12. Changes to the App or Terms

 

We may update these Terms or modify the App from time to time.

 

Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

13. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
